Rocca San Casciano

   Rocca San Casciano: Small Medieval town, which is the antique Parish of San Casciano in Casatico, original name of the river Montone. It was governed by the De` Calboli Counts and in 1382 it was became part of Repubblica Fiorentina, which opened a juristiction office. In the 18th Century nominated "Regio" by Leopoldo the First of Lorena after the abolition of the Romagna province.
