Montiano

   Montiano lies on a gentle hill not far from Cesena and is known for its good cuisine. The late 16th Malatesta Keep overlooks the town and parts of it can now be visited. On the facing hill there is the charming Park of Remembrance with its Monument to the Fallen, and from which there are splendid views of the plain below. Among the many events if the Festival of the Cicciolo (made form pork crackling) in September.
