Casola Valsenio

Casola Valsenio is reached by ascending the Senio Valley through rolling hills covered in neat rows of grape vines. Before entering the town is Cardello, an unusual building where the writer Alfredo Oriani spent almost the whole of his life. It retains only a part of its original character as it was substantially remodelled in 1926.
