In 1995 the Republic of San Marino instated the Designation of Origin and Typicality to safeguard, upgrade and promote artistic and traditional production.
Ceramics, copper works, wrought iron, glass and precious metals such as gold and silver, lace, embroidery, painting, wines and cakes are all protected by this designation mark. Holders of the Designation of Origin and Typicality:
