The Matis Club has never stopped to make speak of itself on a national level, thanks to evenings particularly trendy (Star's Cake, Juice of Juice, Orient Express in order to only cite the most known).

A great variety of public continues to appreciate the positive atmosphere, the energy and several kinds of musical proposals by deejays of national fame alternated in consolle, often working side by side with hosts of international reputation (Tony Humphries, Frankie Knuckles, Satoshi Tomiie etc).

The Matis Club, after its first 17 years is more than ever alive and rich of energy, for this today is really an asset in accommodating events and manifestations of show, sport, fashion and entertainment.

The restaurant becomes part in the nightclub defining the style of lively elegance, and a glamour atmosphere from the beginning of the evening.

The menù proposals are always various but characterized by two main guidelines, one of a classic but refined cuisine, careful to value the culture of the more traditional palates, and the other one of a more experienced cuisine, made of researched tastes and mingled together to accompany you from spices evoking something more international, from the Indian cuisine to the sushi Japanese, for giving to an exotic taste to an evening with an alternative style.

The careful and searched style of the light system, of the preparation of the hall and arrangements the tables, the all evening accompanied with a musical background with live jazz artists, the ambient of revival, all well chosen to create a choreographic atmosphere to be remembered

It's between the end of the '70s and the half of the '80s that the House Music takes life, thanks to the use of sequencer and synthesizers, a new musical tradition of sound.

Also being been born in Chicago and in New York who finds immediate spread, and just with the opening of the "Salvation", a club of New York, to frequented mostly by gays, on the 43th road in the west of the district of Hell's Kitchen.
Other realities from New York that have diffused the beginning of the house are the "Loft" and the "Paradise Garage".

To those times one of more the assiduous frequent visitors was Dave Morales, but also Francois Kevorkian and Frankie Knuckles.

From 1977 to the 1984 Frankie Knuckles, had the merit of to be the first disck-jokey to program this music constantly, it finally favored the first contaminations of house music in the city of Chicago.

The term house, the real one, was assigned to it before that time in occasion of the so-called warehouse parties, special evenings in which this kind of music was programmed; it was only later on that the house music became diffused to the Club Warehouse of Chicago.
