On August 14th, 1959 the brothers Anselmo and Arnaldo Picchioni opened one of the first ballrooms in the area and called it VALLE FIORITA.
Immediately the club was nicknamed "La Buca" (The Hole) because of its location underneath the hotel Miramonti. The price of entry was L. 100 (italian Lira) for men and L. 50 for women.
The programming was initially entrusted to the famous "juke box", which inspired the dances during the afternoons and guests were also from the Festival of Sanremo, as Aurelio Fierro, Luciano Taioli and Nilla Pizzi.
