Kinki Club Bologna

Quando aprì nel 1958 si chiamava "Whisky a go-go". Il nome rende benissimo l'idea della moda, importata dagli Stati Uniti, di quegli anni. Infatti era costume acquistare una bottiglia di whisky e tenerla in appositi armadietti che il locale forniva, consumandola poi a piacere durante una o più serate.

Inoltre, in perfetta linea con le tendenze di allora, (vedi il più famoso Piper di Roma), la musica era esclusivamente dal vivo e tra i gruppi che vennero a suonare ricordiamo: i Giganti, Mal e i Primitives, i Rockets, Patty Pravo, ecc. e cosa che pochi sanno, ma che è un'esclusiva nazionale, anche Jimi Hendrix.

When opened in 1958 it was called "Whisky a go-go. The name pays very well the idea of fashion, imported from the United States in those years. In fact it was the custom to buy a bottle of whiskey and hold it in special cabinets the local gave and consuming it during one or more nights.

In the mid-sixties, the Disco Club had a restaurant, and it launched the fashion of spaghetti at midnight and found immediate success since Bologna has always been a city of "biasanot (night people). Then the name changed in Champagne Club, and turns more into a kind of night club in the sense that it becomes more refined in the level of furnishings, while still maintaining the characteristics of the ballroom.
