   A season for Tamara..  

 

To the beginnings of this year Tamara has disappeared, it was one of my trainers, but also my companion from nine years. I don't want to return on what happened, that a tragic too fact remains over how private.

 

   

 

 

It is clear however that to face the season 2007 after this terrible matter has not been easy. Together with my team we have decided to make her really for Tamara. Its spirit is always present in the group of addestatori and helps us to

 

 

 

   The paper of identity of Ulisse    

 

 

     Been Born by mother Candy and Good dad September 3 rd 1997, Ulisse it moves his first hits of fin in a calm and salty delphinursery. Today, to the 10 year-old age it is one of the stars of the show in the great Lagoon of the dolphins of Overseas. Ulisse since the most tender age has underlined a particularly vivacious character, it spends in fact big part of his time together with the friends of game Golia and Micha without disdaining however you swim, jumps and spray together with the dolcissimna and elegant Cleo. Reaches the sexual maturity, begin to challenge the males greatest presents in the tub without however great success!!!    

 

   The training Dolphins  

 

When it is assisted to a show of the dolphins, it is noticed that the trainers continually perform gestures "strange" with the hands. It deals with a language "not record", a formality of communication between man and dolphin.

 

Other tool used by the trainers is the whistle that simply serves to say "OK Hai Made The Correct Thing, Returns From Me For Your Reinforcement." The system of which it uses Overseas the team of trainers of in fact you is denominated "working Conditioning through positive reinforcements", for reinforcement he intends something that the dolphin likes it: fish, games, caresses.    

 

 

To the stimulus proposed by the trainer, the animal can answer in positive way, in such case the animal will be strengthened, or negatively and therefore the trainer has to be patient and to retry later. It deals with an extremely serious job in which improvisation doesn't exist and that it asks for particular characteristics from who develops him: passion for the animals, great sense of responsibility, total availability, ability to work in team.

 

The construction of the exercises happens for phases:
- search of the physical contact: caresses, little darlings construction of the trust
- introduction of the target: tool constituted from an auction with little ball to the extremity
- control: the dolphin learns to be attached to the target up to that you doesn't feel the whistle of the trainer
- sketch of the exercise: with the target it is drawn the gesture that will correspond to the in demand exercise
- introduction of the gesture: the target is replaced little by little by a gesture done with the hand.
The succession is: to) gesture of the hand, b) movement of the target, thin to reach the day when the dolphin will begin later immediately the movement to the signal with the hand, without waiting for the movement of the target. To that point the acquired exercise is considered.

The trainers of Overseas they work in hold collaboration with the team of veterinarians, the prevention is in fact the word of order to reduce the eventualities of sanitary risks.
A training exists therefore to veterinary (medicals) purpose that allows to verify the physical parameters and the state of health of the animals; they are taught exercises and made to develop for effecting all the investigations of routine: blood's collecting, collecting of the urines and the I did, collecting of the gastric fluid and the expired air, ecografie.
